Ana dancing with the crazy guy. Or... was it the other way around?
After the race, obviously. Why am I the only one bright red and sweaty? a bad knee. I can only figure that I trained too much.
Mindy and Ryan. Ryan ran so fast he had time to run back to the condo and take a shower.
Geralyn and Andrew, Geralyn was the only smart one
Bart and I at Dead Horse Point. We finally figured out what happened to the horses.
Bart and I at Delicate Arch. I know that was more than a 3 mile hike.

Bart and I at Delicate Arch. I know that was more than a 3 mile hike.We had heard the phrase "what happens in Moab, stays in Moab", so I guess we'll stick to that. We went down with a group of 12 to run the race. There was Ana and Pat, Hillary and Chad, Andrew and Geralyn, Mindy and Ryan, Lisa and Corby and Bart and me. We had a lot of fun. A few fond memories included the unmentionable item left in the shower, a large pair of ladies panties, a wooden spoon, a theft of a vehicle, lots of hard rock music, the prairie dawg port-a-potties, recycled gatorade, and a lot of running. Everyone completed their races and did a great job. I am glad that it is over. It is so much work, even though Bart refers to it as "the fun run", only 13.1 miles. The worst part for me was that my watch battery died during the first mile, so I had no idea of my pace. Bart got a 1.32 and his goal was under 1:35, so he did great. I got 1:51. I was hoping to at least get under 1:50, but that's ok. The weather was perfect for running, it was so nice down there. We had fun going out to eat with everyone. We drove out to Dead Horse Point with Ana and Pat. The last day, we hiked to Delicate Arch. Tanya, Shane, and Mia met us for breakfast and the hike. Shane carried a huge backpack, the princess carrier, and Tanya is 6 months pregnant. I couldn't believe she could hike so well.

I love the part about the unmentionables in the shower and the large ladies underwear. It will definatly be a trip I will not forget! We have still been laughing about both of those things! Thanks for the fun weekend!
Ok, I finally found your blog through the link on Mindy's. Anyway, great job on the half to both you and Bart! I guess that diet worked for Bart, huh? Did he stick to the diet? I was laughing about "we finally figured out what happened to the horses". Maili was expecting to see dead horses there, or course. Brian wore his Forerunner on the Delicate hike, and nope, it's not more than 3!
I think you should pay the person who took your picture at Delicate Arch. WOW! What talent! And yes, I am crazy, which is why that old man kept shying away from me. By the way, feel free to remove that picture from the blog...
